You’ve worked with a killer video production company like Visual Post and you have this great looking TV commercial, now what?
Here are 6 free things you can do with your TV commercial once it’s it been produced.
Upload it to YouTube or to Another Video Platform
This should be a no brainer. Uploading your TV commercial to an online video platform is a great way to get exposure for your business, it’s great for your websites SEO and makes the video easy to share. Video production people should already be including this in all of their packages, we do at Visual Post. I’ll be posting a video on our Youtube Best Practices soon.
Post it to Your Companies Blog
Once you have it uploaded to the web you should embed your video everywhere. You especially want to post it to your companies blog. Once you post it to your blog tell everyone about it! Are you still not on Twitter and Facebook?
Post it to Your Facebook Page
Facebook makes it easy to share videos, you’ll be able to share it with all your friends, family and colleagues. If you have staff members that are actors in the commercial they’ll be sharing it with their friends and family.
Include the Commercial in Your Next Email Newsletter Campaign
Including a video into your email campaign leverages the power of the internet. Adding a link to your video entices the reader to click through to watch your video. It’s even better when the viewer has other videos to watch when they click through. So start shooting more video!
Give the Commercial it’s Own Landing Page
If your already using any type of PPC/ Google Adwords campaigns you are most likely driving traffic to a landing page. Include the video as part of the landing but only if it makes sense and doesn’t distract from your offer! If people can visualize your product or service they are more likely to convert!
Copy Your TV Commercial to USB Drive
People always forget about this one. Burn your TV commercial or video to aUSB drive and include it with all your handouts. We had a client that gave out copies of their commercial along with their business card to every potential new customer.
